Surf Clear EVO is an epoxy system specially formulated for the manufacture of surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, wave skis, and skimboards.
This product is suitable for hand lay-up or vacuum lamination of glass, carbon, aramid, synthetic, or natural fiber fabrics (flax, coconut, silk, etc.).
Surf Clear EVO is compatible with all sandwich cores: wood, balsa, polystyrene, polyurethane, PMI, linear or cross-linked PVC.
Surf Clear EVO is miscible with all fillers used in the surf industry: glasscell, microballoons, silicell, etc.

SICOMIN is strongly committed to eco-responsible development. Whenever it is technologically possible and raw materials are available, we systematically choose renewable chemical structures produced by nature and biomass.
Surf Clear EVO resin is produced with an approximate green carbon content of 40% (resin only).

CHARACTERISTICS:

This very high-performance system is perfectly suited to surfboard production.
Thanks to its high mechanical properties, it allows epoxy manufacturing with a “flextouch” close to that of polyester boards.
Its reactivity and excellent surface finish make it an ideal product for gloss coating and lamination of aesthetic parts, models, and artistic work.
Good UV stability for an epoxy system, but lower than polyester or polyurethane finishes.
