Epoxy resinSR 1500 combined with the slow hardener SD 2503 can produce:

  • Mixing ratio per volume: 100 / 37
  • Viscosity of mix at 20°C: 750 + 150 (CPs or mPA.s)
  • Pot Life of 500g mix at 20°C: 57 mn
  • Reactivity: Slow
  • Tg1 max: 76 °C

To add glitter and give your epoxy resin a specific pearlescent effect, add it once your mixture is ready. The amount depends on the effect you want to achieve, but always start with a small quantity, as it is easier to add glitter than to remove it.

Mix the glitter into the epoxy resin with a mixing stick until the color is uniform. If you want a darker shade, add more pigment in small amounts, mixing thoroughly each time.

Keep in mind that pearlescent effects can vary depending on the thickness of your pour, so it is important to run tests with small quantities before starting your final project.
