Description

Epoxy system for boat building: bonding, lamination and wood coating. Adjustable working time: 5 hardeners available. Light coloring, fluid.

Polymerized at room temperature, non-stick surface, shiny.
Stick to all woods.
Easy to sand. Excellent resistance in marine environment, immersion.
Phenol or amine toxic free, not allergenic.
Diluent EP 217 for dilution of the first coat in application coating.

The hardener SD 5503 is very slow and allows time for laminating, bonding and fillers,

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES :

  • Mixing ratio per weight: 100 / 29
  • Mixing ratio per volume: 3 / 1
  • Viscosity of mix at 20°C:  690 + 100 (CPs or mPA.s)
  • Pot Life of 100g mix at 20°C:  38 mn
  • Reactivity: Slow
  • Tg1 max:  64 °C

AVAILABLE KITS :

  • 1.29 Kg of mix (resin 1 Kg + hardener 0.29 Kg)
  • 6.45 Kg of mix (resin 5 Kg + hardener 1.45 Kg)

Bon produit

reçu en 36 heures! bravo! je m'en suis servi pour coller des planches en cumaru que j'avais bouvetées. Avant de coller j'avais ressuyé le bois avec de l’acétone industriel... La prise s'est correctement effectuée dehors en 2 jours alors qu'il faisait 12-13° (Sud Bretagne).
