Epoxy Resin PB 250 + Hardener SD 5604

The system PB 250 with the hardener SD 5604 is a formula of epoxy foam developed for the production of low density foam. The final density of the foam depends only on the initial choice of resin.

This system gives a white foam but can be colored with the help of compatible pigment epoxy. Combined with hardener SD 5604 the epoxy foam PB 250 obtains foams with densities around 280kg/m3. The mixes are made very easily with a very simple and tolerant mix ratio of 1 to 1 per volume.

The mix evolves in two stages:

• Rapid expansion of the casting, indepedent of hardener.
• Slow hardening of the mass.
