The resin PB 250 with the hardener DM03 gives a foam with around 250kg/m3 in free expansion. This system is white although it can be tinted with compatible pigments.
The hardener influences both the hardening speed and the casting thickness
The mix evolves in two stages:
- Rapid expansion of the casting
- Slow hardening of the mass.
Specifications:
- Low density foam
- No manipulation of hollow microspheres
- Two-component systems
- Adhesions to many supports
- Casting on pre preg and epoxy systems during polymerization.
- Excellent density homogeneity
- Excellent resistance to water
Applications:
- Production of epoxy foam
- Core materials for sandwich casting
- Volume of floatability
- Foam and honeycomb densification
- Thermic insulation
- Tooling blocks for models.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
- Mixing ratio per weight: 100 / 31
- Reactivity: Standard
- Casting thickness at 20°C
- 5cm expansion, exothermic temperature 120°C
- 4cm expansion, exothermic temperature 40°C
- Tg1 max: 88 °C
AVAILABLE KITS :
- 0.66 Kg of mix (resin 0.5 Kg + hardener 0.16 Kg)

CONTENANT Heureusement qu'il y a un avertissement pour le potentiel dégagement de gaz lors de la première ouverture du pot. Oui il faut être prudent ça "pète" un peu !! Je ne suis pas fan des contenant métalliques qui ne sont pas des plus pratiques pour les petites quantités, mais ça se gère. UTILISATION Mise en œuvre aussi facile qu'une résine standard, ça se mélange sans soucis. le mélange commence à mousser assez lentement, pas la peine de s'affoler. RESULTAT Le résultat final correspond à mes attentes, assez dur, léger, ça se ponce sans se déliter. Résumé : bon produit, je recommande
