Tuto proposed by Charly (Marseille)
Following water infiltration, I decided to redo the shower area of my bathroom and make it an Italian shower. To make it waterproof I used Sicomin products.
1- Removal of the old shower tray and tiles, clearing away the rubble. Only the drain pipe remains.

2- Positioning of the new evacuation grid and wedging.

3- Making a screed with a slope towards the mortar drain. Remember to take into account the thickness of the tiles!

4 - Coating of the side walls with mortar.

5- After the screed is completely dry, impregnate the concrete and laminate it with Sicomin SR 5550 epoxy resin and SD 5503 hardener, followed by a glass cloth E 2210 for sealing. On the glass cloth is placed a Peeltex tear cloth (red striped cloth) to avoid sanding and improve the adhesion of the cement glue.

6- The next day, the walls and corners were impregnated and laminated. Be careful not to forget to finish with a fold of Peeltex!
7- 48 hours after lamination, the Peeltex is removed and the tile is glued directly on the glass laminate without any further preparation. Do not lift the Peeltex from the surface to be treated until the last moment. This way, it protects the surface from glue or other traces.
