SC Color Flakes Bleu Profond

SC Color Flakes is a range of synthetic nacre in the form of lamellar mica particles coated with mica dioxide associated with a colored pigment. The particles have a size of 10 to 60 µm and are perfectly compatible with most thermosetting resins, in particular with epoxy resins.

They are used in particular in the realization of mixture of casting or varnish for the decoration (table river, jewels, etc.)

Dosage / Mixing:

The amount of SC Color Flakes to be added to the resin mixture is variable depending on the desired result. However, an approximate range can be given according to the degree of transparency or opacity required.
For a very transparent effect: 0.02% (1 g of powder for 5 kg of mix) For an intermediate effect: 0.05% (1 g of powder for 2 kg of mix) For an almost opaque effect: 0.1% (1 g of powder for 1 kg of mix)
We advise you to mix the powder in the part before introducing the hardener.
